Music amplifies the meaning of the things we say and breathes new life into them.

We all have a story to tell.

Nine Lives Lost

This music is meant to evolve. Fans, musicians, and storytellers are encouraged to take these songs and reshape them, cover them, remix them, reimagine them in their own voice. Nine Lives Lost believes that a song doesn’t have just one life; it has many, living on through the people who connect with it.

After a lengthy hiatus, let’s just call it a catnap, Nine Lives Lost is finally stirring awake, ready to share music that we have been working on for what seems like a lifetime (and yes, our “unfinished songs” folder is legendary).

Every lyric and melody starts the old-fashioned way, with an acoustic guitar, late-night ideas, and endless rewrites, but when it comes to turning our bedroom demos into something worth sharing, we team up with an unexpected collaborator: AI. This is not our first choice, but a means to an end. Think of it as our session band, vocalist, and producer that never complains, drinks all the coffee, or misses rehearsal. We are very open about how we use AI.

Our goal? To create songs that connect. Whether they make you smile, cry, think, or hit repeat, we want each track to feel honest. Some are short, some are long, but we always let the lyrics lead the way, even if that means breaking a few radio rules. We’re not here to be perfect. And if one of our songs hits you in the heart, then we’ve done our job.
